THE TEAM
The Live Nation Marketing & Data team serves to provide our partners in Live Nation Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship with best-in-class support for everything from digital ads to data platform management. We collaborate closely with our internal partners to help understand their business needs, develop a marketing and data strategy, define a shared roadmap, and deliver the work needed to achieve our goals. Our team is continuously testing new ideas and driving digital innovation to provide all Live Nation teams, artists and clients with leading edge technology that allows us to create the best possible live event experience for our fans.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, creative, and passionate Senior Full Stack Engineer who loves building, shipping, and iterating quickly. You'll play a key role in turning ambiguous business problems into robust, production-ready solutions. This is an opportunity to influence product direction and work across the technology stack in a highly collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both back-end and front-end development, owning and evolving meaningful parts of products and their underlying systems. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take a leadership role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions. This role will be focused on shipping features end-to-end - design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance - along with contributing to architectural and technical decisions as the products mature.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
  • Deliver software to enable new product initiatives and own the balance between time to launch, ability to pivot, and ability to scale
  • Work closely with other teams to understand real problems and translate them into product features with appropriate technical solutions
  • Collaborate with coworkers in product, design, data, and operations to ensure solutions interoperate well with our cloud infrastructure, web-based tools, mobile applications, and third-party services
  • Architect and optimize database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Collaborate with other developers to analyze project requirements and provide strategic technical insights
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback to other members of the larger engineering organization

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience and a track record of building impactful products or systems
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Comfort working within an Agile software development lifecycle (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficiency with modern version control systems (e.g. Github, Gitlab), software development workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with developing system architectures using cloud infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Back-end development experience using Python, Ruby, Node.js, Go, or similar languages
  • Front-end development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern UI frameworks
  • Experience leveraging RESTful APIs and scalable service-oriented architectures
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus

The expected compensation for this position is:
