Job description

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to perform a wide variety of duties in order to create and sustain a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Duties and responsibilities may include sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise, hanging, pricing, and ticketing clothing, running clothes from the production room to the sales floor, straightening and maintaining clothing racks by department, category, and color, sorting and cleaning shoes, handbags, accessories, toys, and furniture for sale, using the cash register to ring customer sales, and keeping the sales floor, bathrooms, entry, windows and sidewalks clean and tidy. The Sales and Production Associate will serve all customers and donors courteously and respectfully and assist in various capacities as directed by his/her immediate supervisor.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, have excellent customer service skills, and be able to understand and follow directions, stand for long periods of time, lift 50 lbs. and have excellent communication skills.
