Job Title: Order Systems Specialist

Location: New Berlin

Job Description SummaryThe Order Systems Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing sales orders from initial ticket assignment through fulfillment readiness. This role manages an assigned ticket queue, gathers any missing information needed to complete orders by coordinating with Sales and Sales Support, and enters sales orders into the system with a high degree of accuracy. The Order Systems Specialist also serves as a point of contact for order-related questions, processes change requests on existing orders, and actively monitors held orders to prevent delays. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a queue-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Log into the ticket queue and manage assigned tickets in a timely manner
  • Review incoming tickets to determine whether sufficient information is available to process a sales order
  • Reach out to Sales and Sales Support to obtain any missing or additional information required to complete an order
  • Create and enter sales orders accurately into Acumatica
  • Respond to and resolve clarification requests regarding submitted orders
  • Process change requests for existing sales orders as needed
  • Monitor held orders to ensure they progress appropriately and do not become stuck
  • Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by the team or management
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Sales, Sales Support, and Purchasing throughout the order lifecycle


Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software/order management systems with minimal training


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or supply chain operations.
