Position Summary
The Student Assistant for UIW Athletics Ticket Office assists the Coordinator of Ticketing with scanning game-day tickets, distributing will-call tickets, and handling game-day sales for Football, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. This position reports to the Coordinator of Ticket Sales.
Essential Functions
  • Scanning tickets for all ticketed Athletic events on campus.
  • Assist with will-call ticket distribution by having guests on the pass-list sign for tickets.
  • Perform game-day ticket sales using the UIW online ticketing system & credit card machine.
  • Greet, support, and provide the best customer service for all who attend UIW Athletic events.
  • Assist with essential day-to-day ticket office operations by answering phone calls, responding to emails, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous sales or customer service experience.
Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
None.
Work Hours
  • Flexible hours depending on the students class schedule.
  • Office Hours: Monday-Friday anywhere from 10 am - 5pm (Depending on class schedule).
  • Game Days: Any day of the week depending on sport (usually weekends) typically anywhere from 4:30 pm - 8:00 pm on weekdays & 11 am - 6pm on weekends.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to move around campus.
  • Lift up to 25lbs
