Job description

Field Sales Representative โ€” Tampa Bay Market

Full Throttle Marine | Commission-Based | Tampa Bay, FL | Flexible Schedule

About Full Throttle Marine

Full Throttle Marine is disrupting the marine service industry. We're not your typical boat service companyโ€”we're a premium mobile operation that brings expert maintenance, repair, and detailing directly to boat owners' docks, eliminating the friction of traditional service models. We're crushing it across Palmetto, Bradenton, Sarasota, Longboat Key, Tampa, and St. Petersburg, and we're scaling fast. Our clients don't just use us; they evangelize for us!

The Opportunity

We're hunting for a fearless, charismatic Field Sales Representative who can own the Tampa Bay market and become the embodiment of Full Throttle Marine. This is a commission-only role for someone who doesn't just tolerate outdoor environmentsโ€”they thrive in them. Boat shows, fishing tournaments, marinas, waterfront events, private docksโ€”these are your hunting grounds. You'll build unshakeable relationships with boat owners and turn conversations into loyal, recurring revenue streams.

You'll move our flat-rate service packages and Full Throttle Club memberships with the kind of authenticity and energy that makes people actually want to do business with you. If you're obsessed with the water, energized by human connection, and hungry to earn what you're actually worth, this role was built for you.

What You'll Do
  • Own the Tampa Bay waterfrontโ€”marinas, boat ramps, yacht clubs, dry stacks, and private docks become your territory
  • Command the room at boat shows, fishing tournaments, waterfront festivals, and high-traffic community events
  • Hunt down and engage recreational powerboat owners with a consultative, relationship-first sales approach that actually works
  • Close deals on service packages (maintenance, detailing, repair) and Full Throttle Club memberships that generate recurring revenue
  • Build strategic partnerships with marina managers, dock masters, and marine retailers that become referral machines
  • Keep your pipeline loaded and deliver weekly activity reports that prove your dominance
  • Be the living, breathing embodiment of Full Throttle Marineโ€”professional, polished, and genuinely passionate about the boating lifestyle
What We're Looking For
  • Natural communicator who builds authentic connections instantlyโ€”you read people and adapt your approach effortlessly
  • Self-directed entrepreneur with an ownership mentalityโ€”you don't need hand-holding; you execute and own the results
  • Energized by outdoor environmentsโ€”docks, events, sun, and salt air aren't just tolerable; they're where you come alive
  • Proven sales track record (preferred); marine, outdoor, or lifestyle industry experience is a serious advantage
  • Existing network within the local boating or fishing communityโ€”this is gold for us
  • Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver's license (non-negotiable)
  • Professional presence paired with genuine enthusiasm for the water lifestyle
  • Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is highly valued in this market
Nice to Have
  • Personal boat ownership or hands-on marine maintenance experience
  • Social media savvy and the ability to leverage personal networks for lead generation
  • Event coordination or community engagement background
  • Deep knowledge of Tampa Bay's boating community and local event calendar
  • Track record of exceeding commission-based sales targets
Compensation & Benefits
  • 100% commission-basedโ€”unlimited earning potential with no ceiling
  • Aggressive per-sale and per-membership commission structure that rewards performance
  • Top performers consistently earn $50,000โ€“$80,000+ annually (some exceed this)
  • Complete schedule flexibilityโ€”you control when, where, and how much you work
  • Branded materials, professional apparel, and comprehensive marketing support provided
  • Work from anywhere with total flexibilityโ€”the water is your office
The Pitch

20% of every FT Club membership you sell. 10% of every service ticket you book. Cross $5,000 in earnings in a month and your rates jump 50% for the rest of the month โ€” Club becomes 30%, services become 15%.

No base. No cap. No draw you owe back. No quota you get fired for missing.

Modeled earnings: $49K baseline, $65K target, $82K stretch. Overachievers in a dense market push past $117K.

Your territory is defined. The brand opens doors. The technicians do the work behind you. Your job is to sell and to log it. That's it.

Why This Role Stands Out

The marine service industry is being transformed, and Full Throttle Marine is leading the charge. We're a fresh, premium brand that speaks to a new generation of boat owners who demand professionalism, warmth, and exceptional service. Our clients respond to representatives who bring genuine energy and care to an industry that's historically lacked both.

If you've never fit the mold of traditional marine sales but you're obsessed with the water and connecting with people, we're looking for you. This is your chance to build something real, make serious money, and do it on your own terms. No corporate nonsense. No artificial caps. Just pure opportunity for someone ready to dominate.

How to Apply

Ready to make waves and earn what you deserve? Send us a compelling introduction and your resume. Tell us why you're fired up about this opportunity and what unique edge you'll bring to Full Throttle Marine. We want to hear your story.

Full Throttle Marine is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to building an inclusive team that reflects the communities we serve.
