Job description

This is an application for an eCademy Preschool Teacher position at our central office (located at the Matthews Campus). The eCademy staff are all followers of Jesus who take their representation of Jesus and of the church seriously, both at work and at home. Employees are strong, positive influences in the children's lives and are committed to the vision of Elevation Church and eCademy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You'll be working alongside our eCademy team to uphold the program's vision and values.
  • You'll work closely with families enrolled in our program to provide the best possible childcare experience for children ages infant through pre-kindergarten.
  • You'll work with our eCademy Admin team to support Lead Teachers and daily classroom operations.
HOURS
  • Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available
  • Standard operating hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM-5:30PM, though individual schedules may vary
  • The church office is open Monday-Thursday from 8:30AM-5:00PM and is closed on Fridays (Excluding holidays or special circumstances)
MUST-HAVES
  • Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
  • Passion for children and families
  • Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure
  • A team player with excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Awareness of child care rules and willingness to implement
  • Ability to pass a national background check
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
  • 2+ years of experience working with children in a school/daycare setting
  • Current connection to Elevation Church (volunteering/small group experience is a plus)
  • Active at a local campus of Elevation Church
  • CPR/First Aid certification
