We are looking for: Internal Medicine Credentialed Veterinary Technician 
  
The Internal Medicine team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clients regarding patient care, updates and treatments. This is one department that focuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in duration. If you want to combine your love of animals and clients, this is the department for you! 
  
What you’ll do: 
  • Set up constant rate infusions (CRI). 
  • Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc). 
  • Induce, monitor and recover patients from anesthesia 
  • Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures. 
  • Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway). 
  • Patient discharge and client education 
  
Who you are: 
  • State Registered Veterinary Technician license required 
  • Prior veterinary experience required, previous internal medicine or anesthesia experience desired 
  • Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) 
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
