Job description

The Loan Officer will contribute to the growth of CCBank's market share of loans and deposits in the related market. The Loan Officer will work directly with existing and prospective clients of the bank to efficiently manage relationships, source and develop lending opportunities, and underwrite and close loan requests, while ensuring that the bank is forming comprehensive relationships with our clients.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the growth and market share expansion of the Salem market for CCBank.
  • Partner effectively with retail banking management in the branch.
  • Engage with customers to determine loan needs.
  • Interview loan applicants.
  • Collect and process loan applications and documentation.
  • Evaluate credit and analyze financial documentation.
  • Advise clients on loan policies and restrictions.
  • Prepare loan proposals for credit approval with the support of the credit department.
  • Coordinate with internal team members and third-party vendors to complete closing due diligence and meet scheduled closing dates.
  • Maintain and update client account records.
  • Monitor and manage existing customer portfolio.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct experience producing and managing commercial loans in a banking environment.
  • Thorough and technical knowledge of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and commercial loan structure.
  • Direct experience with various commercial lending products including asset-based lines of credit, equipment lending, and real estate (term and construction financing).
  • Direct experience with financial spreading and loan underwriting tools (Moody's, Sageworks, Encino, etc.).
  • Exceptional ability to communicate proactively, clearly, and efficiently.
  • Exceptional time management and task prioritization skills.
