Position: Strategic Finance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85–$100/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Build business cases and investment appraisals using NPV, IRR, and payback for projects and decisions.
  • Produce capital allocation determinations, ranking investments against hurdle rates with portfolio review.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses of the corporate plan across demand, pricing, and cost.
  • Analyze pricing and discount economics to support price setting and deal desk approvals with margin impact.
  • Conduct market sizing and competitive landscape analysis, cohort and unit economics, and cost baseline and savings analysis for cost reduction programs.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning inside an operating company.
  • Ownership of a capital or pricing decision that went to a leadership forum.

Preferred

  • Management consulting or Big 4 strategy background now in an operator seat.
  • Growth equity background now in-house.
  • Deal desk or pricing strategy experience.

Assessment

  • A business case with NPV and IRR from mock project files.
  • A pricing and margin recommendation.
  • A capital allocation ranking.
