Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team in New York City. This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the heart of New York City. Our facility is designed to support a collaborative work environment, featuring modern therapy equipment and resources that enhance treatment efficacy. You will work amidst a passionate team committed to providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation, emphasizing both physical and emotional well-being. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that supports personal well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical therapy needs of children, establishing baseline measurements and identifying specific problems.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of each client, using evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and reassess patients’ progress, adapting treatment strategies to ensure the effectiveness of therapy and achievement of goals.
• Document thoroughly and accurately, utilizing the company’s electronic record system to complete SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and their families about the proposed treatment plan, recovery process, and potential challenges, fostering a supportive environment for open communication.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to business objectives by actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
• Collaborate closely with peers across various disciplines within the organization, ensuring a cohesive approach to care for patients receiving multiple services.
• Promote and uphold the company’s culture and core values, acting as an ambassador for Motion Physical Therapy.

Your focus will primarily be on pediatric patients, including children from diverse backgrounds and with a variety of conditions such as developmental delays, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. You will be expected to apply a multilingual approach to communication and therapy to ensure all patients feel understood and supported, taking into account cultural sensitivity in treatment modalities.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, along with a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted licensure by the New York State Board of Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Ability to conduct evaluations and provide treatments in both physical and telehealth settings as clinically appropriate.
• A strong desire and adaptability to work with diverse patient demographics, ensuring inclusive care for children of all ages and backgrounds.
• Exemplary collaboration and teamwork skills, with a focus on high-quality customer service and patient care.

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapy techniques and patient interaction.
• Experience with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and patient management.

The physical therapist position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
