Job description

A behavioral health provider in Phoenix is seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Clinician to provide therapy, clinical oversight, and staff support for our Outpatient Clinic.

This is a hybrid contract role averaging 16 to 20 hours per week. The position includes direct counseling, review of clinical documentation, staff guidance, and support with program compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy
  • Review and approve treatment plans, assessments, and clinical documentation
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to behavioral health staff
  • Complete required clinical reviews and admission sign-offs
  • Support staff during crisis situations and clinical escalations
  • Facilitate bi-weekly clinical trainings
  • Participate in incident reviews, quality assurance, and corrective action
  • Monitor clinical quality and documentation compliance
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to support member care


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health or mental health experience
  • Active Arizona license: LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT, LAMFT, LBSW, LIAC/LISAC, or LAAC/LASAC
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience with EHR systems, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
  • Strong computer skills

Experience with AHCCCS, SMI populations, outpatient or IOP services, trauma-informed care, CBT, or motivational interviewing is preferred.
