The role is based in our well-equipped outpatient facility located in the vibrant community of Union City, NJ. • Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for a range of conditions, particularly in pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and align with each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Regularly monitor and reassess patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records including SOAP notes, progress summaries, and care plans utilizing our electronic health record system.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, recovery pathways, and coping strategies to enhance engagement and autonomy.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and contribute to organizational objectives, promoting the clinic's overall success.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the center to coordinate seamless care for patients receiving multiple therapy services.
• Promote and embody the core values of Motion Menders Therapy, serving as an ambassador of our mission both within the team and in interactions with patients and their families.

Our clinic serves a diverse clientele, with a focus on individuals of all ages, from young children to older adults, facing a variety of physical impairments. Whether working with pediatric patients recovering from sports injuries, adults managing chronic pain, or seniors rehabilitating post-surgery, your work will center around fostering functional independence and improving the overall quality of life for each client.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; candidates with a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) will be prioritized.
• A current and unrestricted state license to practice Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Experience performing physical therapy evaluations and developing treatment plans in a clinical setting is highly desired.
• Flexibility and adaptability in providing care both in-person and through telehealth modalities, in alignment with patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting, particularly with pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record software and documentation processes.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and engagement in continuing education.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by generous benefits including:
