Job description

Facilities Maintenance & Repair Specialist
Mt. Olympus Resorts, Water & Theme Parks - Wisconsin Dells, WI

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance/Construction laborer with a strong background in construction-related tasks to join our team at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. This is a Seasonal opportunity with day shifts (Monday-Friday) scheduled from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Occasional hours may vary including a Saturday once in awhile. The position could evolve into a year-round, full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
Position Summary
This role supports all aspects of park operations across our Resorts, Water, and Theme Parks, with a focus on maintaining and improving the grounds, facilities, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related tasks and will ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. You will perform a variety of tasks, including construction, repairs, and general upkeep.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project plans.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.
  • Ensure structures meet building codes and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors about project status and material needs.
  • Assist carpenters, builders, and skilled tradespeople on construction projects.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite, following all safety rules.
  • Assist with demolition work, including tearing out old materials and debris removal.
  • Transport and organize supplies and construction materials.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
  • Report safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
  • Support other crew members to ensure projects stay on schedule.

Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of grounds maintenance and equipment operation.
  • Experience in construction-related tasks, including carpentry, concrete work, and structural repairs.
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet for extended time.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Prior experience with power tools and equipment is required.
  • On-time, willing to learn and reliable.
