Job Title: Game Entertainment Intern
Organization: Greenville Swamp Rabbits
Location: Greenville, SC

Reports To: Senior Director, Fan Experience

Position Summary:
The Game Entertainment Intern (s) will work, grow, and support the Swamp Rabbits Game Entertainment and Game Operations and will be supervised by the Senior Director, Fan Experience and Manager, Game Entertainment & Content. During this internship, the intern will be able to harness their skills, learn to apply them effectively in a professional environment, and gain significant practical experience and professional development/mentorship.
As part of the Game Entertainment team and the broader Fan Experience department, this role will be essential to the execution, scripting, asset creation, and ideation that shape the Swamp Rabbits game experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with pre-game & post-game entertainment set up and tear down
  • Assembly of backdrops, theme balloon arches, and other essential props and needs for games
  • Aid in the effective execution of pre-game, in-game, and post-game ceremonies & activations
  • General storage/organization of Entertainment assets
  • Help the Stage Manager in ensuring timelessness & organization of fellow members of entertainment team for in-game
  • Manage & provide first-class service and assistance to traveling national acts & other outsourced entertainment.
  • Assist with script writing for entertainment staff scripts
  • Video and illustrator editing; in-game content pieces
  • Research ways to grow our Game Entertainment & Fan Experience
  • Content creation needs as assigned
  • Office hours and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Receive course credit for the duration of the 2026-27 season
  • Previous experience in game presentation and/ or game operations is preferred but not required
  • Available for 90 percent of our 26-27 home games
  • Organized and efficient, process- and execution driven
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Competence
  • A positive attitude, attention-to-detail, growth mindset, and willingness to learn
  • Takes initiative and is action-oriented
  • An effective communicator and leader
  • Creative - strives to think outside of the box and impact the game day environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays as needed
