The theatre is open365 daysa year with holidays being some of our busiest times. While we work with everyone to make sure they have time with their families,we also must make sure the theatre is staffed.

JOBOVERVIEW

As a committed, proactive Operations Manager, you will work with other management to hire and train staff and ensure that patrons receive excellent service. The role of anOperationsManager is to help supervise and coordinate the entire team. They must ensure the guest receives a warmwelcomeand that service and equipmentrunssmoothly.

You may also be responsible for managing inventory and resources pertaining to all amenities within the building, helping the marketing team with promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, maintain current licenses, create schedules, and work with the operations team to set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with and mentor diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

Delegation of responsibilities isa must, and will help cultivate the next class of managers, but you should become competent in all tasks and processes though out the location.

Thispositionrequires you to work during the evening, on weekends, and on holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Hiring, training, motivating and coaching employees as they provide attentive, efficient service to guests,assessingemployee performance, andprovidinghelpful feedback and training opportunities.

  • Resolving conflicts or concerns from guests and employees.

  • Monitoring theatre activity and ensuring it is properly staffed.

  • Ensuring staff members follow company policies and procedures.

  • Keeping up to date on personnel records and certifications needed for the staff.

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towardGuest and team members at all times.

  • Responding promptlytoGuestrequests.

  • Staying current on new releases and upcoming movies.

  • Communicating and coordinating as a team with your fellow colleagues.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional guest support.

  • Remainingattentive to corporate requests and mindful of related responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing a large, diverse team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

  • A track record of managing daily business operations, including facility maintenance, vendor relations, and safety compliance.

  • A passion for the cinema industry and the ability to maintain a "premiere" atmosphere for guests.

  • The ability to handle equipment malfunctions (such as projection or HVAC issues) and guest service escalations calmly and effectively.

  • Ability to provide clear, actionable instructions to staff and maintain pleasant but authoritative communication with the public.

  • Must be at least21years old at the time ofhire.

  • If at any bar location, R-Servingis required and must be willingand able to pour at least basic drinks.

  • If at a kitchen location,ServSafecertification isrequired.

  • Mustbe able to run errands and provide current driver license and vehicle insurance.

  • Must have the availability to open and/or close regularly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyzing and monitoring daily operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency across departments.
  • Regularly patrolling the facility to ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the physical environment meets regulatory standards.
  • Supervising the movement of goods, supplies, and equipment; this often requires hands-on verification of stock.
  • Coordinating with staff at all levels, which involves moving between different areas of the facility to conduct walk throughs or face-to-face briefings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequent standing and walking to monitor large floor areas.
  • Constant use of hands to operate computers, handle sensitive equipment, or feel for mechanical irregularities.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching to inspect low-level inventory, equipment, or facility infrastructure.
