Join The Villages Health as a Community Paramedic – Enriching Lives in the Heart of Florida’s Senior Community

Become a key part of The Villages Health team as a Community Paramedic, where you’ll make a meaningful difference for elderly residents in The Villages, Florida. You’ll provide in-home care and support, helping seniors live safer, healthier, and more comfortable lives.


In this role, you will provide a range of essential in-home services, including: 

  • Conducting thorough home safety assessments and ensuring a safe environment for patients
  • Administering IV fluids and performing medication reconciliation and administration
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Providing minor wound care, setting up medical equipment like oxygen concentrators and nebulizers, and performing 12-lead EKGs when needed
  • Documenting all care activities in the Athena EMR system and maintaining clear communication with the Care Center and the healthcare team

Schedule Requirements:

Part-time (3 shifts a week), shifts are Monday - Friday, start and end times are flexibile

Reliable transportation is required


Compensation:

Starting pay: $29 per hour

  • Current Paramedic certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
  • Critical Care Paramedic certification is preferred, but not required
  • Florida driver's license

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
