What you’ll be doing each day
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify materials for identification accuracy and visible condition before movement
• Kitting - Gathering separate items and packaging them together into one ready-to-use set or bundle called a “kit.
• Support outbound shipment staging and routing preparation
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification activities
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials safely within the facility
• Maintain shipping and receiving supply levels
• Help maintain a clean, organized, safety-focused workspace
• Work closely with teammates to keep shipments moving on schedule
What helps someone succeed in this role
• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution experience
• Comfort working with shipment paperwork and structured workflows
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with WMS, AS400, or MRP systems is helpful but not required
• Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks (certification helpful, not required)
• Reliable attendance and steady work habits
• Ability to work independently while supporting team priorities
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Prior warehouse or distribution experience required
