Job description

Over the last 11 years, we've built the premier performance training center in Southern California for clients looking to leverage our expertise in sports technology, performance training, and physical therapy-led recovery. As we continue to grow, we're adding performance specialists to strengthen our Lab team. What makes our performance specialists position different from training jobs at other gyms? Instead of spending your efforts as an independent contractor hustling for clients, you will be part of a team, your focus caring for our 95 members who already make up our community. And you'll get better. You will use our resources and top professionals to learn how to become the performance specialist you set out to be.
Performance Specialist/Trainer
Here's how:
• You will learn how to use industry leading sports performance technology from our partners at P3 who revolutionized training pro athletes.
• You will work with our staff therapist to incorporate a psychological viewpoint into your clients' care.
• You will work hand-in-hand with our Elite physical therapists who help guide our training and recovery.
• You will get to know and learn from all of our 95 members - professionals, artists, and community leaders.
What we offer:
• The best location: Santa Barbara, 2 blocks from the beach
• $55-75K+ with full benefit package
• A small-team environment where relationships matter most
• Access to the same technology used by NBA, NFL, and Olympic athletes
• Mentorship from industry leaders in biomechanics, performance, and psychology
Skills Required:
  • A passion for helping people reach their goals
  • Performance Coaching or Training background ideal
  • Strong verbal and written communicator
  • Passion for sports, health, and human performance
  • Active in their own physical, mental, social and personal development
  • Proactive, persistence, and diligence in completing tasks
  • Adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing key tasks
  • Ability to maintain a professional attitude in all situations
