Job description

HSS is currently seeking an temporary Account Supervisor to support our clients in San Juan, PR area. This position is on a temporary basis to support our summer business.



The Account Supervisor serves as a primary point of contact between the agency and its clients. The role ensures that client expectations are met or exceeded, while also driving account growth through strategic thinking, relationship management, and team leadership. The Account Supervisor collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality work, manage timelines, fulfill client staffing needs, process payroll, resolve employee relations matters and ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnering success.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients. Address client needs and concerns to deliver solutions and align business objectives. Visit client properties and attend client meetings as required.
  • Project Management: Manage timelines to ensure they meet client expectations and agency standards.
  • Financial Management: Maintain budget. Process employee payroll, billing and invoicing. Attend internal operations and sales meetings.
  • Recruitment Management: Develop recruiting plans and network to proactively fill upcoming and current open needs; visit with channel partners as required; post flyers and signs in the community; support social media recruiting through Facebook and Textus as required. Track Open and filled orders daily and document as required. Conduct and manage interviews for candidates. Fulfill open orders.
  • Onboarding: Oversee the completion and accuracy of new hire documentation, including company acknowledgments, tax forms, benefit enrollment, drug screens, background checks, and work authorization documents in alignment with compliance and legal regulations. Partner with clients to provide training coordination for new hires to ensure employees are well prepared to succeed in their roles.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for growth through upselling or cross selling services. Collaborate with the Marketing and BDM team to support new business proposals.
  • Employee Management: Conduct safety trainings as needed. Address employee concerns such as performance issues or employee relations issues in a timely manner and report concerns to HR as needed. Report any workers compensation incidents to Risk Management. Separate employees when necessary.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Preferably 2 years of experience in staffing or hospitality.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions and ideas clearly and persuasively. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with digital marketing and job board platforms. Avionte experience is a plus.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and account growth.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


Working conditions

  • Work is divided between field and office environments, with approximately 60% of time spent on-site at client locations or attending off-site meetings and 40% in a standard office setting.
  • Frequent travel to client locations or off-site meetings required.
  • May be required to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on project deadlines and client needs.
  • Requires use of personal vehicle with legal authorization to drive.


Eligibility Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have valid car insurance, driver’s license, and reliable transportation that can be used for work purposes.

Compensation:


The pay range for this position is $45000 - $48,000. This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Additional Compensation:

This position may also be eligible for commissions and additional incentives such as mileage/car allowance..
