Job description

Vancouver Clinic is hiring apart-time 26 hours a weekLaboratory Assistantto support our busy Clinical Lab. Inthis role,you'llhelp keep lab operations moving by processing routine and STAT testing,monitoringtemperatures, andsupportingaccuratereportarchival.You'llalso provide excellent service

to patients, providers, and medical staff by ensuring proper patient identification,accuratespecimenlabeling,timelydata entry, scanning, and faxing. This role is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to prioritize STAT, ASAP, routine, and pre-op specimens in a fast-paced lab environment. Responsibilities may include performing CLIA waived and moderate complexity testing, troubleshooting workflow issues, following clinic and laboratory policies and procedures, and collaborating with the lab team to meet patient care needs.

Location:PaddenCommerce Park (12019 NE 99th St Ste 1780 Vancouver, WA 98682)

Schedule:Monday,Tuesdayand Friday from 1:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday: 7:30AM to 2:30PM

Hiring rangeisgenerallybetween $20.59-$24.68per hour, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience.*Differential Available: Evening, after 5:30p ($3.00/hour)& Weekend ($2.62/hour)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, and/or combination of education and experience in phlebotomy/lab sciences preferred

Pay Range:

$20.19 - $28.27
