Description
We are seeking a Lab Technician to support prototyping, testing, and failure analysis activities for new and existing automotive products in Fishers, IN. This is a short-term position lasting until approximately September.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform functional, durability, and destructive testing per work instructions
  • Set up, monitor, and document standard durability and environmental tests
  • Build and support prototypes according to work orders
  • Document test setups, results, and findings electronically and communicate with project teams
  • Rework and modify components in the lab fabrication shop as needed
  • Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Support material handling, shipping, receiving, and incoming inspections
  • Operate lab equipment including test systems and 3D scanners
  • Build custom cables, fixtures, jigs, and measurement tools as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment following 5S standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent with hands-on electro-mechanical testing experience
  • Automotive or test lab experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on lab environment
