Job description

*Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, as required by law for the serving of alcoholic beverages in NJ.*

We are seeking part-time employees to join The Funplex. The Food and beverage department is looking to fill cashier positons within our facility for our outlets which include quick service food stands, full service café, pizza station, and table service areas. The positions will be responsible for the satisfaction of our guests through exemplary service, efficient production, and quality products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work the register at the food and beverage outlets
  • Maintain safe and clean areas at the food service locations
  • Prepare food for guests while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Ensure that workspace and food areas are clean and free of clutter at all times
  • Process sales transactions and accept payments
  • Following recipes and preparing food for our guests
  • Serving Alcoholic Beverages

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be dependable and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas)
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work under pressure while multitasking, have strong organizational skills, and be able to pay attention to detail
