With over 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor activities, the Funplex guarantees fun 365 days a year for families and teens alike, regardless of weather. Located in East Hanover and Mount Laurel, New Jersey, the Funplex is your go-to venue for birthday parties, corporate outings, and other important events. We are seeking an energetic and charismatic Corporate Host to facilitate engaging and memorable events for our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a vibrant personality, and a knack for keeping guests entertained and informed. As a Corporate Host, you will be responsible for orchestrating various corporate events such as meetings, teambuilding events, and company parties, ensuring they run smoothly and leave a lasting positive impression on attendees. Duties and Responsibilities: Hosting Events: Serve as the primary host for corporate events, maintaining a professional yet approachable demeanor throughout.

Engaging Audience: Captivate and interact with audiences to keep them engaged and interested in the event proceedings. Facilitating Activities: Oversee the event, serve and replenish the food, or oversee structure team-building activities as part of the event agenda. Managing Schedule: Keep the event on schedule and ensuring all planned activities are executed within the allotted time frame.

Providing Information: Serve as a point of contact for guests, providing information about the event, venue, and any logistical details. Promoting Engagement: Encourage attendee participation by fostering a sense of community. Representing the Brand: Uphold The Funplex's values and brand image through professional conduct and interactions with clients, guests, and vendors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience: Prior experience as a Corporate or Event Host. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely. Charisma: Natural charisma to captivate audiences and create an engaging atmosphere.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different event formats and unforeseen circumstances with ease. Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage event logistics and keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously. Professionalism: Maintain a polished and professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

Must have weekday, daytime availability. Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for creating memorable experiences and delighting event attendees.
