What you will do:
The District Sales Manager will promote the sale of Food and Beverage equipment within assigned territory. Supports the activities of refrigeration contractors by providing technical and commercial information in the promotion of sales. Responsible for the application of Frick equipment to customers' needs. Creates a demand for Frick equipment with both end users and engineers for sale through refrigeration contractors. Provides feedback to the factory on both commercial and technical issues to provide the factory with guidance for future product development and commercial strategy.
How you will do it:
  • Provide technical and commercial information to customers to promote the sale of refrigeration equipment (mainly contractors).
  • Provide Sales feedback to regional management and factory personnel on activities in the field, including customer perception of Frick products, competitive moves, industry trends, and lost and secured job information.
  • Creates a demand for Frick equipment for purchase through refrigeration contractors.
  • Gathers information on project bidding to enable Frick to maximize profits on each project.
  • Becomes involved in related industry associations to promote the sale of Frick equipment (RETA, IARW, PIA, ASHRAE, etc.)
  • This position requires extensive travel for face-to-face contact with customers. Thirty to fifty percent of working day is required with customers outside of the office. Travel is often required outside of the normal working hours.

What we look for:
Required
  • Requires a bachelor's degree from college or university in Engineering or Engineering technology; or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration components and equipment.
  • A background in industrial refrigeration sales/engineering, refrigeration contracting, or food freezing is required.
  • A refrigeration technical school with six or more years of experience and demonstrated ability required.

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $70,000- 109, 000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
