Job description

Inception Fertility is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in our Franklin, TN office. This is a hybrid role supporting a fast-moving HR team that touches every part of the employee experience from the first interview through onboarding, benefits, and beyond.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support new hire and exit processing, recruiting, work authorization verification, and benefits administration alongside the broader HR team.
  • Own the HR mailbox, fielding employee questions on benefits, leaves of absence, employment verifications, and policy with timely, accurate responses.
  • Coordinate the hiring and onboarding process end-to-end: reference checks, background checks, drug tests, assessments, and weekly new hire orientation.
  • Partner with managers and HR Business Partners to keep candidate onboarding on track, surfacing delays or discrepancies early and resolving them clearly.
  • Collect and organize new hire documentation, employment, education, certification, and license verifications, so files are complete and audit-ready.
  • Handle verification of employment (VOE) inquiries directly or route them to the right vendor.
  • Guide leaders through work authorization regulations and processes.
  • Provide responsive, professional HR support across the full employee life cycle, escalating sensitive or complex matters appropriately.
  • Assist recruiting with candidate sourcing, phone screens, interview scheduling, and creating a positive candidate experience start to finish.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as the team grows and evolves plus much more!

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of previous HR administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and HRIS
  • A personable, flexible, and positive approach to your work and the people you support.
  • Sound judgment with sensitive and confidential information, discretion is non-negotiable.
  • Strong organizational instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to self-start and prioritize in a busy environment.
