Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for Sales Super Stars! As a Sales Media Executive, you will help local businesses connect with their potential customers using the best resources in the business. We have a top-performing sales team with a strong culture of teamwork and success. Minimum of 1 year sales experience required. Broadcast and/or Digital Advertising Sales experience is preferred, but a successful outside sales track record will also be considered. This is an on-site position (not remote). Living by the golden rule and having a strong desire to help people are necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

*Responsible for generating new advertising revenue by cold calling new prospects and developing new advertising accounts for the station and the station's digital products.
* Exceed monthly revenue goals by generating new business through daily cold calling and appointment setting with new prospects, selling digital advertising, and growing advertising revenue from current clients
* Keep up to date on all station product lines and programming features, including the product lines and programming features of competing TV stations and other media platforms
* Negotiates advertising rates and schedules, along with preparing creative written and oral proposals to clients
* Must be able to provide account updates, communicate monthly revenue projections, and forecast future advertising business within our CRM database Matrix on a weekly basis.
* Monitors accounts receivable of their client base
* Maintains daily call tracking and appointments within our CRM database and achieves weekly appointment setting minimums

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or equivalent work experience
* 1 Year Sales Experience required, Media & Digital sales experience a plus
* Must possess good communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
* Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage your time effectively
* Knowledge of MS Office products
* Must meet the Gray Media driving requirements and have a valid driver’s license
