Job description

Breakfast Attendant

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast buffet in accordance with brand standards and health department regulations. The role may also support maintaining the breakfast dining area and assisting guests throughout the breakfast period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet area with appropriate utensils, condiments, and equipment to receive prepared menu items.

  • Prepare and/or cook designated menu items according to established recipes and standards.

  • Monitor and replenish breakfast items throughout the shift to maintain full stock during service hours.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including washing and sanitizing work areas, walls, and storage areas; remove trash as needed.

  • Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.

  • Notify supervisor of inventory needs or concerns.

  • Complete all assigned closing duties before the end of shift.

  • Maintain awareness of safety and security issues and report any concerns immediately.

  • Demonstrate teamwork and support by performing additional duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications
  • Experience with food and beverage preparation preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work safely with cleaning materials and maintain sanitation standards.

  • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.

  • Availability for weekends, holidays, possible overtime, and alternating shifts.

Job Environment & Physical Requirements
