Golf: Outside Services
Position Description

The Golf: Outside Services team member works closely with the The Pro Shop Manager, Outdoor Experience Manager, and Director of Golf to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for members and guests throughout the property. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all outdoor golf areas, including the golf cart fleet, driving range, The Short Track (18-hole par-72 putt putt course), and The Graveyard (9-hole chip and putt course).

Availability is required for shifts between 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, based on business needs.

The Outside Services team member must demonstrate strong listening skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including the ability to work additional hours when needed.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Please note that duties may evolve based on operational needs.

  • Greet all members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all outside operational areas
  • Follow all procedures for opening and closing daily operations
  • Ensure cart staging areas remain organized and free of congestion
  • Clean, inspect, and prepare golf carts for daily use, ensuring proper appearance and functionality
  • Manage cart fleet operations including charging, stocking supplies, and rotating usage
  • Oversee and maintain the driving range, including ball inventory, picking, and setup
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of The Short Track and The Graveyard areas
  • Monitor guest usage and flow across all outdoor golf entertainment areas
  • Assist golf shop staff with tournament setup and staging
  • Maintain smooth flow of player traffic throughout the facility
  • Track and report supply needs for all outdoor areas
  • Address minor issues and escalate major concerns to management
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.

· Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

· Continuous repetitive motions.

· Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.

· Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays

· Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Team Members.

· Minimum Age 16

· Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours

· A positive attitude while on the job is also essential
