Job description

Primary Job Function:
Responsible for assigned accounts, including quoting and estimating prices for new quotations. Managing sales program coordination through interaction with all pertinent departments within Thai Summit America Corporation. Development of new and existing accounts to reflect stated company objectives and goals. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Advise related departments in responding to customer requests and concerns
  • Estimate and submit quote prices maximizing company requirements
  • Negotiate a profitable piece price, tooling, cost for Engineering changes, new program quotations and other related cases
  • Develop and issue interdepartmental reports to track sales functions and department performance through a quality operating system
  • Providing timely and accurate information to Customer requests and concerns
  • Interact and entertain customers
  • Manage Customer reporting system as required
  • Actively participate in closing all monetary open issues
  • Monitor our scorecard and manage activities in OEM portals
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience in sales in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years’ experience in engineering, cost estimating, sales or production planning preferred
  • Professional level of knowledge in a business-related field and proven leadership and communication skills required
Health, Safety and Physical Demand Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting, climbing, carrying, pulling, griping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping and reaching throughout the work day
  • Hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
  • Ability to use a phone and computer keyboard
  • Ability to work in office and manufacturing environment
