Job description

Nara Thai Kitchen is seeking an experienced Lead Server to join our upscale, fine-dining team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that exceptional service is just as important as exceptional food.

This is a leadership position for someone who takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences while helping guide and mentor the front-of-house team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an outstanding fine-dining guest experience from start to finish.
  • Lead by example and maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new servers.
  • Ensure proper table service, timing, and presentation.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of our menu, wine, beer, cocktails, and specialty beverages.
  • Make food and beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues immediately.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and elegant dining room.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of upscale or fine-dining serving experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and food pairings is a plus.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
