HVAC Technician - Commercial - Austin, TX

We are currently seeking a motivated Commercial HVAC Technician in Austin, TX to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC/R systems across commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to grow in the HVAC trade. Training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and service on commercial HVAC/R equipment
  • Conduct field service visits to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair and replace HVAC components
  • Service air conditioning units and ensure systems operate efficiently
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and performance
  • Assist with general property maintenance tasks as needed
  • Drive a company vehicle to travel to multiple job sites
  • Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with local codes and company standards

Qualifications

  • Some experience as an HVAC Technician preferred; willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and technical aptitude
  • Familiarity with HVAC/R systems and components
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • Air-cooled chiller experience is a plus
  • Welding and basic electrical experience is a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
