Job description

Currently seeking a Textile Machine Operator for a full-time permanent position in Webster, MA.

Responsibilities of Textile Machine Operator:

-Set-up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines

-Select, measure and load materials onto machines

-Follow written and verbal instruction

-Operated conventional and CNC manufacturing equipment

-Utilize meter, gauges, valves, guidelines, and other measuring materials to complete quality checks

-Report and discrepancies, abnormalities, or malfunctions

-Performed basic repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to machines and equipment

-Meet company goals and standards

-Maintain inventory levels of raw materials

-Keep a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of Textile Machine Operator:

-Minimum High school Diploma, GED or equivalent

-3+ years experience in Manufacturing operation environment

-At least 3 years quilting or other textile machine operation experience

-Great communication skills

-Mechanically inclined

-Able to work independently or in team setting

-Good troubleshooting skills

-Basic math skills

-Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move materials for extended periods of time

-Organized and able to prioritize

Hours: 3:30pm-12:00am Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $23.00-$26.00/hr
