We are looking for a Knit Linking Operator to join our team.
The Knit Linking Operator is responsible for joining and finishing knitted fabric components by precisely looping or linking edges together. This role ensures garments and textile products meet quality, strength, and appearance standards required for production. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate knit linking and looping machines to join knitted components accurately and efficiently
  • Match stitch count, size, and tension of fabric edges during linking and looping
  • Inspect materials for defects prior to linking or looping
  • Ensure seams are aligned, smooth, and consistent
  • Follow production specifications, patterns, and work instructions
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed
  • Inspect materials and completed work for defects and quality issues
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area
  • Maintain production and quality standards while meeting established productivity goals
  • Follow workplace safety and quality standards
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent

Requirements
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to count stitches accurately
  • Comfortable working with small tools and machinery
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Self-starter with strong organization and the ability to work within a timeline and stay on track
  • Dependable and strong communication skills
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and quality documentation in English

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing or textile production environment is preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Regularly required to sit for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 5-20 lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements throughout the workday
  • Good vision
  • Must have good hand strength and dexterity
  • Must be able to operate foot pedals
  • Communicate and exchange information with internal staff

The noise level is usually low.
