Job description

The House Brands Product Team is looking for a highly detail-oriented intern to work across Product Development, Design, Production, and Technical Design. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in product creation (apparel, footwear, and accessories) to gain exposure to multiple areas of a product team and understand how an idea moves from concept through development, production, and final delivery. The intern will help with the day-to-day functions that keep the team aligned and moving forward. This includes sample coordination, system updates, tracker maintenance, presentation preparation, board making, filing, and communication support with external vendors.
This position will report to our Footwear & Accessories Product Development Manager.
You must be based in Austin, TX and willing to be in office ~30 hours a week for this paid internship.
Responsibilities
  • Support the House Brands team across Product Development, Design, Production, and Technical Design
  • Maintain physical and digital materials, including samples, submits, files, boards, and internal documents
  • Assist with updating internal systems, trackers, and cross-functional tools
  • Coordinate samples, including tracking, preparing, and pulling them for meetings, reviews, and presentations
  • Assist in creating and maintaining presentation boards, line review materials, and visual recaps
  • Prepare for internal presentations, external vendor meetings, and cross-functional milestone meetings
  • Support communication of comments and updates to external vendors under supervision
  • Assist with filing development records, submits, seasonal materials, and product references
  • Partner with team members to ensure product information is accurate, current, and consistent across systems

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping information accurate and up to date
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Proactive, curious, and willing to jump in where needed
  • Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar tools
  • Previous experience and exposure to apparel, textiles, merchandising, design, or product development is helpful but not required
  • Available to be on-site @ Huckberry HQ ~25-30 hours per week (with room to add hours if needed)
