Job Title: Legal Secretary
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $18+ DOE
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers.
  • Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues, and partners.
  • Greet visitors.
  • Produce and file various legal documents such as appeals, motions, or petitions.
  • Preserve an updated case record system.
  • Answer phone calls, take notes and messages, and redirect calls when appropriate.
  • Maintain and update inventories of contact details.
  • Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agenda and providing timely reminders.
Legal Secretary Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English
  • Outstanding time management
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Trustworthy to handle highly confidential information
  • Comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
