Principal Accountabilities:

    • Operate and monitor batch production equipment in accordance with work instructions, SOPs, and quality specifications
    • Assist with operating PLC-controlled equipment, including monitoring: Temperature controls, Pumps, Pressure systems
    • Follow Process Flow Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand flow paths and material movement
    • Perform routine checks and adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation
    • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
    • Adhere to all safety requirements, including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, Process Hazard Evaluations (PHE) awareness
    • Communicate issues, deviations, or equipment concerns to leadership promptly
    • Support continuous improvement, housekeeping, and team-based problem solving
    • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
    • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
    • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorhip
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and system
  • 1 or 2 years of previous experience in a batch production or manufacturing environment
  • Basic experience or exposure to PLC-operated equipment
  • Must have knowledge of: Temperature, pressure, and pump-controlled processes, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs with an understanding of process flow
