Job description

The Texoma Veterinary Hospital is run by talented individuals who are truly passionate about animals and the people who love them. Established in 1984 in Sherman, Texas, our team includes skilled veterinarians, friendly service, and first-class medicine in a welcoming facility. Our veterinarians are members of the Texas Academy of Veterinarians and one a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.

Texoma Veterinary Hospital is excited to announce our expansion and remodel are now complete. We are eager to expand our medicine even further with new CT, dentistry suite, special procedure room, and more!


Come extern with us!
Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice. 

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.


Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School

Must be able to provide student PLIT
