Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have numerous facilities in locations throughout the Texoma region. Since 1965, TMC has forged a special relationship with the people of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. Texoma residents have come to depend on TMC to meet a spectrum of physical, mental and spiritual needs. The Regional Director - Business Development develops & implements strategic plans to improve market share and financial growth throughout the assigned region.  Develops and executes, in conjunction with local C-suite executives, annual long-range plans that drive both acute and ambulatory expansion as a part of the regional integrated delivery system (IDS). Promotes expansion of provider network, both employed and aligned, to ensure network sufficiency.  Provides leadership to assigned departments including business development, strategy, decision support, & physician relations.


Qualifications

This role covers TX/OK and specifically, these markets: Enid, OK; Sherman/Denison; Amarillo; Eagle Pass; Laredo; and McAllen/Edinburg, Texas.
This is a remote, work from home role.  Home base will be determined during the interview process.  

Experience & Knowledge:

·         Minimum 10 years in physician services, marketing, operations and/or business research and development.

·         Comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of physician relations and business development.

·         Knowledge of marketing activities, hospital management and department structures, managed care and governmental program reimbursement and other matters affecting existing and new product analyses are essential.

·         Understands the dynamics and politics of the healthcare environment and can navigate between disparate entities.

·         Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products and other related technology.

Education & Training:

Bachelor’s degree in business management, public relations, or equivalent analytical discipline required. MBA or MHA preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Travel expectation of up to 75% of the time of which 1 week each month would be spent in the McAllen/Edinburg market working with the Texas/Oklahoma Acute Division RVP and Market CFO for the Region on matters of strategy and execution.

Skills:

Adept in abstract analysis, interpreting financial proformas and utilization of information relative to hospital products to evaluate reasonable opportunities for growth.
Proficient in high-level and unit-level data assimilation and interpretation.

Strong project management skills and follow through from vision to execution.

Persuasive work organization and analytical skills.

Demonstrates excellent formal presentation and interpersonal communication skills that result in understanding of, and commitment to, strategic initiatives.
Effectively acts as a change leader and creates clarity, energy and commitment to initiatives by gaining buy-in and removing barriers.
Ability to influence behaviors and outcomes by building consensus in a collaborative way.  Inspires desired behaviors and acts as a coach to others.
