Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Manager within the System Engineering Marketing (SEM) organization. In this role, you will manage a team of system engineers, who in turn provide customers with complete semiconductor solutions for Test & Measurement applications. You may also work with Business Units & sales and marketing functions to determine priorities, and then direct and monitor the team to provide reference designs or otherwise demonstrate the integration of multiple products within an end-equipment solution. Additional job functions include providing technical expertise directly to large-volume customers or providing solutions for the general market. Providing inputs for future product development based on customer application specifications and market trends is key. This is a supervisory role with direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the test & measurement system team
  • Define and drive system-level requirements for test and measurement applications, translating customer needs into reference designs, collaterals, or product roadmap requirements
  • Serve as technical liaison with key customers and field teams, leveraging system engineers for application support
  • Collaborate with TI's product lines to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify market trend inflection points
  • Provide technical expertise directly to large-volume customers
  • Work with marketing to provide solutions for the general market
  • Provide inputs for future product development based on customer application specifications and market trends

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 8 years of engineering experience
  • System-level knowledge of ATE & data acquisition systems (precision and high-speed)
  • Experience with TI's precision and high-speed signal chain portfolio

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with simulation tools and PCB design
  • Strong signal chain technical skills for Test & Measurement sectors
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively across functions
  • Ability to take initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
