About the role:

As a Principal I&C Engineer, you will lead a team of engineers to perform integrated testing activities on Safety Instrumentation and Control Systems for Commercial Nuclear Plant equipment. This work will include the planning, controlling, and leading a team of engineers for system and integrated functional testing of the deliverable plant equipment. You will work with and lead a team of engineers to develop test procedures, perform testing and write test reports to verify and validate I&C systems, ensuring test coverage related to the I&C system requirements. You will also lead the development and improvement of test methods, systems and tools related to testing, system verification and validation, and quality assurance. You will report to the Systems Testing Manager and be located at Warrendale, PA location. This position is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test strategies to test Instrumentation and Control Systems for Commercial Nuclear Plant equipment.
  • Lead a team of engineers to develop test procedures from System Design and Software Requirements documents.
  • Lead a team of engineers and perform Logic diagram analysis to develop test cases - Plan and lead test program execution
  • Author, review, and issue test reports
  • Support root cause investigation of defects and coordinate defect tracking efforts - Plan and maintain project schedules related to test programs and execution - Ensure requirements traceability to specific test cases
  • Develop detail schedules and budgets for test activities as part of a larger project
  • Evaluate engineers' performance and development
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer or equivalent Engineering
  • Experience participating and leading the following: system testing, verification and validation inspections or testing.
  • Experience in embedded I&C systems, logic design, I&C design or software design.

Relocation is not available for this role.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
