Penetration Tester / Red Team Consultant - BFSI

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

About the Role

We are seeking a Penetration Tester / Red Team Consultant to perform offensive security assessments across banking applications, cloud environments, infrastructure, APIs, and digital financial platforms.


IMPORTANT NOTE - BFSI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Candidates must possess experience conducting security assessments within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Payments, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or FinTech organizations.

Experience testing applications handling sensitive financial data and financial transactions is required.

Candidates without BFSI experience will not be considered.


Responsibilities
  • Perform web, mobile, API, cloud, and network penetration testing.
  • Conduct red team exercises and adversary simulations.
  • Identify, validate, and document vulnerabilities.
  • Develop technical and executive-level assessment reports.
  • Support remediation validation activities.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of penetration testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of offensive security methodologies.
  • Experience with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Kali Linux, and cloud security testing.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills.
  • BFSI experience required.
