Job description

Position Summary Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 / SETA Test Coordinator to serve as the central, active facilitator of contractual and programmatic test events across multiple Government teams and vendors. This role coordinates one or more high-visibility, staggered test events across the full test life cycle and provides timely status updates to Government leads. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Serve as the central facilitator of contractual and programmatic test events by driving communication, streamlining information reception, and removing dependencies across multiple Government teams and vendors. * Coordinate one or more high-visibility, staggered test events concurrently across the full test life cycle. * Provide timely status updates to Government Leads, including Agile Release Train Leads, Project Directors, CORs, and other stakeholders. * Facilitate regular meetings and communication mechanisms to discuss progress, address issues, and mitigate risks. * Liaise between vendor, integrator, development, and testing teams to ensure effective communication. * Actively participate in communications across multiple channels, including chatrooms, emails, and verbal communication, on unclassified and classified networks. * Identify and recommend actions to remove gaps in information or communication. * Escalate issues to appropriate teams or, when necessary, to Government Leads. * Centralize presentation of test-event data across teams and vendors. * Create SOPs and templates for Government use. * Maintain a broad view of testing activities for assigned equipment across different test phases. * Track and communicate information across multiple teams and stakeholders. * Monitor test case execution and track progress against the test plan. * Ensure defects and issues are properly logged, prioritized, tracked, and resolved. * Provide periodic status messaging for each test event. * Coordinate with other teams in the setup of the system or environment under test, including hardware, software, and network configurations. * Ensure each test environment meets event-specific criteria. * Triage, prioritize, and summarize issues reported during testing. * Facilitate issue resolution by working with teams, vendors, and stakeholders. * Summarize regular test status reports for stakeholders. * Facilitate the culmination of multiple test reports summarizing the environment, detailed results, and recommendations. * Identify, track, and help mitigate risks that could impact testing schedule, scope, or quality. * Provide recommendations on decisions and priorities for test activities. * Provide recommendations to help define testing scope, objectives, and criteria for success. * Facilitate review of detailed test plans, including timelines and milestones. * Coordinate resources and schedules between the vendor, integrator, and testing teams. * Coordinate with Government teams to develop test cases covering required functionality and edge cases. * Review test cases to ensure they are well defined, relevant, and feasible. * Coordinate test closure activities, including final testing, documentation updates, and messaging. * Facilitate identification and incorporation of lessons learned to improve future testing efforts. Required Qualifications * Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph. * Experience in systems engineering sufficient to meet one of the stated education/experience pathways. * Strong experience coordinating schedule-driven, project-level activities across multiple participants. * Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to synthesize and summarize complex technical information for diverse audiences. * Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including Government teams, industry vendors, and internal stakeholders. * Ability to escalate appropriately to Government Leads, including ART Leads and CORs. * Proficiency supporting requirements validation activities. * Proficiency tracking schedules and anticipating logistical challenges. * Proficiency using ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, and dashboard tools. * Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, assess risks, and recommend prioritization of test activities. * Ability to coordinate environment setup, issue management, reporting, planning, scheduling, and closure activities across the test life cycle.
