Howden's core focus is on providing quality solutions for air and gas handling and has over a century of experience in doing so.  We are hiring Technician-Test for our Windsor, CT location. 

What Will You Do?

Perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks and aesthetics of all Spencer blower and vacuum products.
o    Maintain documentation as per established quality standards and engineering test specification.
o    Perform trim balance.
o    Work with a variety of calibrated gauges not limited to vibration meters, temperature probes, volt, and amp meters.
o    Set up and break down of test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
o    Work with variable frequency drives.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

Standing, and bending for long periods of time
Reading or reviewing documents on a computer
Walking throughout the production floor

Your Experience Should Be...

High school diploma or GED
o    2 years of more working in a manufacturing environment. 
o    Strong attention to detail.
o    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
o    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o    Ability to read engineering documentation (drawings, test specification).
o    Strong mechanical aptitude.
o    Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
o    Work independently and as part of a team.
o    Must be familiar with the operation and connection of low to medium three phase motors.
