The Lead Test Lab Technician assures that the lab and testing equipment are in a state of readiness for product testing required by verification test plans and for failure analysis of product issues. This would include managing and conducting tests and utilizing test lab resources to meet time frames dictated by test plans or time sensitive product issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Administers verification testing as assigned.

Maintains Test Lab order and cleanliness.

Performs root cause analysis of electronic and mechanical product issues.

Performs electronic, mechanical and industrial communication endurance and stress testing.

Manages the storage of test lab equipment and accessories.

Skills Needed

Minimum Electronic Technician degree or equivalent.

3+ years experience conducting product testing.

Ability to program PLC a plus.

Must have ability to use standard test equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, Thermal chambers, etc.

Ability to design and build test fixtures for the lab.
