PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking an NDT Test Examiner 2 for one of our Top clients at location Goose Creek, South Carolina, United States (Onsite).
[Job Description:]
Description Of Services
  • The NDT Test Examiner will train, examine, and certify nondestructive test (NDT) personnel, ensuring competence and qualification to perform tests in conformance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Duties include providing technical support to resolve issues, approving NDT procedures and workmanship standards, and administering training and certification programs.
  • This role involves conducting site monitoring of NDT personnel and operations, performing weld inspections (UT, MT, PT, visual, dimensional), and interpreting technical specifications and procedures.
  • The ideal candidate will compile technical reports on workmanship trends, reject rates, and methodology impacts, while ensuring full compliance with all required safety training and PPE standards.

Skills/Experience
  • Certified Nondestructive Test Examiner (ASNT Level III or NAVSEA 250-1500-1 Test Examiner) -- (Required)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in inspection -- (Required)
  • UT certification with logged hours and supporting documents -- (Required)
  • Prior Military Experience as HT-4944 VT MT PT UT Inspector -- (Required)
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (or 5+ years of NDT technical experience in shipbuilding) -- (Required)
  • Confined Space Entry, Hazard Communication, and Respirator Training (MSA COMFO Classic/Ultra-Twin or 3M PAPR) -- (Required)
  • Fall Protection/4-D Body Harness training -- (Required)
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) trained -- (Required)
