As a Product Owner III - Test Data Management within PNC's Technology - Solution Delivery Enablement (SDE) organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Denver, CO, or Phoenix, AZ.
The Test Data Management (TDM) Product Owner is responsible for defining and driving the enterprise Test Data Management product-focusing on what capabilities are needed, why they matter, and how they deliver value to the bank, while ensuring data is used safely, compliantly, and efficiently.
As a Product Owner III, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Owning the TDM (Test Data Management) product vision, roadmap, and prioritization strategy
Serving as the primary point of alignment across business, technology, Quality Engineering (QE), and risk partners
Ensuring that test data solutions comply with regulatory, privacy, and audit requirements
Translating enterprise needs into clearly defined product requirements, standards, and deliverables
Balancing delivery priorities with risk management considerations and long-term strategic objectives
Collaborating closely with other Product Owners supporting QE tools, QE Leads, and Data Architects
Managing and maintaining the TDM product backlog, prioritizing high-value initiatives while balancing new development with ongoing maintenance
Leading planning sessions with assigned crews, and providing ongoing oversight through standups, reviews, and demonstrations
Operating within a highly technical stakeholder environment, where focus is placed on test data capabilities rather than customer-facing functionality; stakeholders primarily consist of technical teams and delivery crews
Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in:
Proven experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with accountability for product vision, roadmap development, and backlog ownership within an enterprise environment
Experience within Agile delivery frameworks and practices
Solid understanding of Test Data Management (TDM) concepts, including data masking, subsetting, synthetic data, and test data lifecycle management
Ability to effectively manage and set expectations with technical stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills
Experience working with database systems and data environments
Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize competing initiatives and stakeholder demands
Experience developing forward-looking roadmaps spanning multiple quarters, with the ability to translate near-term priorities into actionable quarterly plansPNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance.   • Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Ensures the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value.
  • Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product for business objectives.
  • Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.
  • Works closely with the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), to ensure the right items are focused on during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions.
