Job description

Job Summary:
Tesla is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for their Global Pricing Platform, focusing on leading product management and strategic development initiatives in vehicle pricing. The role involves defining the product vision and roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the pricing platform for current operations and future scalability.
Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to enhance and optimize Tesla’s pricing platform, ensuring smarter, more efficient pricing applications across the entire technology stack
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Production Support teams to drive the development and continuous improvement of the pricing platform
• Gain deep insights into internal user workflows, identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and improve operational efficiency across complex pricing processes
• Work on building simulations comparing historical and forecasted data to assess the impact of changes being proposed
• Partner with engineering teams to design and implement a scalable platform architecture that not only addresses current business needs but also anticipates and supports future growth and product expansion
• Integrate yourself within the functional decision-making team by building strong partnerships with sales/finance to collaborate with them on new strategies/refine existing ones
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely delivery of key projects
• Collaborate with analytics and key stakeholders to define, track, and refine KPIs that inform data-driven business decisions related to pricing strategies
• Balance priorities effectively between new feature development, architectural improvements, and maintaining operational excellence, aligning with overall business goals
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on supporting the development and optimization of internal tools and services
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to query and interpret data, trends, and algorithms, demonstrating comfort with logic and numbers to support decision-making
• A proactive mindset, with a bias toward taking action based on available information and the ability to work through ambiguity
• Success in leading new initiatives, driving results with limited resources and evolving information
• Effective collaboration across cross-functional teams, balancing multiple competing priorities and fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders. Exceptional communication is a must
Preferred:
• Data, Finance, Economics, Computer Science experience is a plus
• Experience with financial information and LLM is a plus
