Job Summary:
Tesla is a leading electric vehicle and clean energy company, and they are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance their data-driven decision-making processes. The role involves owning and scaling the data infrastructure, collaborating with teams to analyze data, and providing insights to improve business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Define and maintain metrics, semantic layer logic, datasets and data visualization to understand and track sales business performance working with the Sales Operations team
• Work on various data-driven projects including data analysis, modeling, and reporting
• Collaborate with the Business Analytics and Data Engineering teams to gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources using SQL, Tableau and other data analysis tools
• Develop a deep understanding of our sales and order fulfillment processes and related performance indicators
• Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and optimization using data insights
• Communicate findings and recommendations to team members and business stakeholders
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed
• Leverage gen AI and agentic workflows to democratize access to data and insights
• Communicate effectively with leaders to identify and address areas for improvement
• Act as a database and system expert, providing support to users on related applications
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business or related field and 2-3 years of work experience, or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in conducting data analytics within context of business operations related to automotive, sustainable energy or high-tech industries
• 3 years of experience in SQL/Python for data extraction and analysis
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Tableau or any other visualization tools
• Strong knowledge of Database Management concepts and agentic workflows
• Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and with project management concepts and tools (Agile, daily scrum, Jira, etc.)
• Experience analyzing data sets and providing insights and clear recommendations based on findings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Can do attitude and self-driven individual
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
