About the Opportunity
Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps things running? At SRM Concrete, we're looking for a Yard Team Member to help keep our concrete plant clean, safe, and organized. If you like hands-on work, take pride in a job well done, and want to help build your community, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
  • Keep the yard and plant areas clean and organized by sweeping, shoveling, and performing general clean-up tasks.
  • Assist with loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Support plant operations by providing manual labor wherever needed-no two days are the same!
  • Help with routine maintenance tasks like pressure washing, organizing supplies, and general upkeep.
  • Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and let your supervisor know when we're running low.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Take on other duties as assigned to help keep the plant running efficiently.

What Sets You Apart
  • You have a strong work ethic and enjoy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • You're comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.
  • You're a team player with good communication skills.
  • Experience as a Yard Team Member, Yard Laborer, Yard Worker, or in construction/landscaping is a plus, but we're happy to train motivated individuals!
  • You have a basic understanding of construction materials and tools, or you're eager to learn.
  • You have reliable transportation to and from the work site.
  • You're willing to follow safety procedures and company protocols.
  • You're ready to complete SRM's pre-employment screenings.
