Hollingshead Cement, a division of Smyrna Ready Mix (SRM Concrete), is seeking a Cement Sales Representative / Territory Sales Manager to lead cement sales and business development in the North Houston and South Dallas, Texas markets.   • Drive Cement Sales & Business Growth:Develop and implement a strategic territory sales plan to increase cement sales volume, capture new business, and protect existing market share in the Houston and Dallas regions.
  • Lead Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with ready-mix producers, contractors, and industrial customers. Serve as the primary contact for customer needs, pricing, and issue resolution, ensuring superior customer service.
  • Coordinate Logistics & Operations:Collaborate with terminal operations, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure timely, accurate cement deliveries. Optimize supply points and proactively communicate with customers about scheduling and availability.
  • Provide Technical Support for Cement Products:Offer technical guidance on cement applications, assist with product performance questions, and partner with internal technical teams for advanced support.
  • Monitor Market Trends & Competitor Activity:Stay informed on construction industry trends, competitor pricing, and regional building activity. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Manage Sales Administration & Reporting:Keep detailed records of customer interactions, pricing, and sales activity. Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts, support credit and collections, and leverage CRM tools for efficient account management.

  • Proven Sales Experience: 3+ years in sales, preferably in construction materials, cement, aggregates, or ready-mix concrete.
  • Strong Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach focused on long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic and Analytical: Ability to analyze market data, develop actionable sales strategies, and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: Driven to achieve sales targets with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Knowledge: Experience with logistics coordination or heavy materials distribution is a plus.
  • Adaptable & Willing to Travel: Comfortable with field sales, customer site visits, and frequent travel—including overnight stays—within the Houston and Dallas territory.
